Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a very private person, so starting this blog was a big step for me. I’ve always loved writing and wanted to be a famous writer when I grew up. (I never understood when adults laughed at that, haha. but seriously never laugh at a child’s dreams)

I was never the type of girl who dreamt of her prince charming or becoming a mother. in my head they were things that happened as we grew but they weren’t on my to do list. haha.. I actually thought to myself when my husband proposed: I’m too busy for this! haha..

So 17 years later here I am: happily married with 5 amazing kids and two angel babies in heaven. I have four boys and one girl. They are 15, 14, 12, almost 10 & 5. I had two miscarriages before my youngest and had to take blood thinners throughout his pregnancy. I will post about that later. I think it’s important we share our experiences with miscarriages because people still don’t talk about it enough. It was so helpful for me to read about other peoples experiences.

I’m currently not working (except on home projects) I’m an interior architect. When I went college they taught us everything. We were required to design everything from landscaping, architecture, structure, interior and even graphic design. (brand identity design) When I started college I didn’t realize how much I would love designing. especially architecture and graphic design. I’ve been thinking of starting to work, since my youngest is four and has started school.

I love baking and have been baking since I was 10. I have what I call “bakers block” and haven’t been in the mood to bake. I’m trying to start baking again and I will post my recipes here.

I also LOVE planning parties for my kids and have done lots of different themes. One of my future plans is to start selling party sets and printable. Do custom designs… I think its never too late to start something new.

I’d also like to add that English isn’t my first language so I apologize if I ever make any mistakes. I’m pretty fluent in English so hopefully there never will be any.

I’m done rambling for now. Have a great day! :)
